  • Hey!  I have to tell you that I have been avoiding this website.  There is nothing worse than someone criticizing something that you write on your very own website.  It is very similar to an artist creating a painting for display and having someone say that it is really nice but it would look better if you used more blue.  My basic belief that most people are ignorant in their stupidity. 


    Actually, I believe that your website is your personal space that you allow people to enter, read and comment.  But the website and content are totally at your decoction.  You, the reader, do not have to read my writings.  I did not send my website to your computer unasked for.  You came to my website to see what I was up to.  You may not agree with what I write which is really okay.  We are all allowed to think and feel and act differently.  Should you decide to unsubscribe or not subscribe at all is totally your business.  I will continue to write what I want on this space.  This is the one place that I may express myself....the one place where I truly give voice to my ideas and experiences. 


    I am sorry that someone of you may not appreciate my writings about Avon.  However, if you did not bother to read to the bottom of the posting the other day, you missed the best part of the story.  Writing at Xanga and selling Avon have both dramatically changed my life.  I feel good about me and the direction that my life is taking.  I love both activities because of the empowerment that I feel.  Sorry, you didn't understand the reason for writing.  Your loss, not mine.


    Anyway, I appreciate everyone's sites and their observations on life.  Glad to see you are all still around and well.  I support your right to express yourself as you see fit and I hope you will give me the same respect.

  • Sorry I have been MIA and have no idea what in the world has happened on your site....too much work and not enough time to read my favs...anyhoo...I say...if someone does not like what I write and says a real negative or flames me...I delete..block and go on...not enough time to put up with the stupids of the world and there are plenty.  Sending love my friend...know I care even if I never get a chance to get around here much.  I must go read the previous Nancy

  • I am sorry to hear that you got criticism.  I think Xanga in general is a great place and I respect both the writers and the readers.  If I do get a wierd comment I will block them...don't have time for that....

  • I just stumbled into your site.  I agree wholeheartedly.  My site is mine, if one doesn't like what I say TOO BAD.  I'm not going to please everyone on Xanga.  I can't even please the ones I physically share space with all the time.  If they don't like my site, then don't come back to it.  Simple as that.

  • There are always people who will criticize. The one time that happened to me, I blocked them. I don't need that on my site. Neither do you. Don't let someone chase you away. We like you.

  • :( :yes::goodjob: I have been MIA too long and not kept up!  Xanga is a personal place and if people disagree with us so be it but they should not tell us what to write or do...so when they get obnoxious in their comments or I do not like what I hear...I block and delete...two of my favorite tools   Go for it girl...this is your home away from home Nancy
